She has served on numerous Boards of Directors, and spent time as a lobbyist in Sacramento and Washington D.C. on behalf of water causes. Wendy has received numerous citations, awards, and recognition for her environmental work.
For the past 11 years, Wendy has made her home in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, where she has designed, decorated, and overseen construction of some of the most beautiful homes in the area.
In addition to publishing and editing Building In Baja Magazine, Solid Advice From The Trenches, Wendy spent three years anonymously writing a popular monthly interview column in El Calendario, “Encounters Of An Underground Milkmaid”. Her book, “Genuine People of Interest, Todos Santos” (available in Hotel California Emporio, and El Tecolote Libros), is a compilation of those interviews of locals who were born and raised in Todos Santos. As creator and editor of BuildinginBaja.com and Baja Tips Weekly, Wendy continues to interview the many special people of Todos Santos in her Spotlight On column. She recently introduced her new column, Todos A La Moda, How We Live, focused on how living the “Baja good life” has impacted the style and lives of folks who have chosen to make this area their home and build a new life.
Wendy hosts one of the very few English radio programs in Baja, Todos Santos Tonight. It airs every Thursday evening at 10pm on 96.3 FM Cabo Mil. It also streams live at www.cabomil.com.mx, where past shows are archived for two weeks.
